Not always on the front pages, but always someone a replaceable and beloved. People are killed every day and every year. We lose more than 30,000 men, women, and children to gun violence. What would it take for the Republican Congress to wake up . They offer prayers and moments of silence, but they do nothing. When the media moves on, they panel the lives that we need more guns and stop to roll back protection. I know and i have been around. I have seen too many gun deaths and too much republican inaction and obstruction, and i am here to say this must stop, and it must stop now. Democrats know what must be done. The way forward is clear. We are calling on republican colleagues to join us and take some simple steps to end an epidemic that is killing americans every day. Republicans must walk away from a radically dangerous bill that will open the floodgates. They must work with us to pass a bipartisan bill which will strengthen the lifesaving to keep guns out of the wrong hands. We must Work Together to ban the sale of bump stock, a deadly tools that enable a shooter to 400matic fire at a rate of rounds a minute as the shooter in las vegas did.
