Cross Lanes homicide: Man charged w/ murder, animal cruelty

A Cross Lanes man has been charged with burglary and animal cruelty following an investigation in Poca, and first-degree murder in a Cross Lanes incident. Billy Cadle, 44, of Cross Lanes was in custody, on March 9, 2024, following the investigations, according to news releases from the West Virginia State Police in South Charleston sent on March 9 and March 10, 2024.
