COVID strikes again: Morristown St. Pat's parade canceled for a second year

Coming just a few days after the first New Jersey resident died of the coronavirus in early March 2020, the cancelation of the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Morristown delivered sober warning that a "new normal" had arrived.
Less than a year later, with the United States still gripped by the deadly pandemic, parade organizers wasted no time in canceling the parade for a second straight year.
“Our hope is to conduct the parade at a later date when existing gathering restrictions are lifted," organizers announced Sunday.
