(Staten Island Advance/Paul Liotta) Facebook Share STATEN ISLAND, N.Y . — An estimated 5,200 hospital staff members on New York City’s front line against the coronavirus (COVID-19) had received a dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine as of Thursday morning, according to Mayor Bill de Blasio. That number includes 3,565 doses since Wednesday morning, and the mayor said during his morning press briefing that the daily number of administered vaccines will continue to grow as the process becomes more streamlined.
