It was named after International renowned South African play writer Athol Fugard who worked with acclaimed actor and director John Kani and late actor Zakes Mokae using theatre to expose the apartheid regime.
It is the home of many plays including Kunene and The King, Statements After An Arrest Under The Immorality Act, and District Six- Kanala. Jacaranda FM
