Court Square Theater operations were suspended in July of last year due to the coronavirus pandemic and a major funding cut from the City of Harrisonburg. In the meantime, A-C-V Executive Director Jenny Burden says they’ve been applying for grants and exploring several partnerships to help defray operating costs. The council is advertising for a full-time Managing Director position for the theater. Former Director Mark Finks was appointed Harrisonburg’s Voter Registrar shortly after the theater suspended operations.
