The chief minister promptly directed the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) authorities to look into the matter. The then engineer-in-chief of the BBMP wrote a letter to the then additional commissioner of police (traffic) on December 20, 2012 to start a prepaid auto counter at Anand Rao Circle and one more at Yeshwantpur Railway Station as per the representation forwarded by the chief minister’s office.
