Northeast ward city council member Barbara Hanes Burke announces her plan to ask the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School board to donate the former Hanes-Lowrance Middle School property to the city of Winston-Salem for development of a community resource center. The announcement was made Friday, July 23, 2021 on the City Hall steps.
