WARREN — Bids for the construction of a proposed impound lot in Warren came in significantly less than had been expected, Mayor Doug Franklin said.
If all of the low bids are accepted, the combined project cost will be approximately $38,964, Franklin has told city council. The city is reviewing the bid packages to ensure the work can be done at the lowest bid prices.
The low bid for fencing is from Austintown Fencing at $27,148; for a shed is from Old Hickory Buildings at $4,775; for a surveillance camera system it’s ALC Technologies at $2,204; and a generator, Lowes at about $115.
