There’s a business unit within Calgary’s city hall that’s increasingly known for taking many layers of bureaucratic red tape and transforming that tangled maze into a smooth red carpet for local small businesses.
Jeff Jamieson, the owner of Donna Mac restaurant and Proof Cocktail Bar, has two recent examples of how the City of Calgary’s Business and Local Economy team has proven that it’s serious about helping Calgary’s restaurants and other small businesses survive the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.
