In the 1920's, the Hartford Blues represented the Nutmeg State in the NFL but they were disbanded by 1927 as the league sought bigger markets. Since then, it's been an odd NFL identity for the State of CT. No matter where you look, research or read, CT's fandom boils down to three teams, the Patriots, Giants and Jets.
