Congress MP Karti Chidambaram has stated that the Congress in Tamil Nadu should receive the same number of seats to contest in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections as it did in 2019. This view has been conveyed to Sonia Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. The party leaders discussed the action plan for the future, the upcoming elections, and strengthening the party. It was emphasized that there should be no reduction in the number of seats allotted to the Congress in Tamil Nadu for the 2024 elections compared to the 2019 elections.
