Congress alliance panel to hold seat-sharing talks with UPA parties first

The Mukul Wasnik-led committee will prioritise talks with erstwhile United Progressive Alliance constituents, including DMK in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, Nationalist Congress Party and Shiv Sena-UBT in Maharashtra and the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha. It will also resume talks with the Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh.
