Bangladesh is a good case study of how we turned from a relatively weak base into a stronger economy, becoming a lower middle incoming country in 2015 and aiming for the upper middle income country status by 2031, and how we got entrapped into the middle income intellectual trap, as our policymakers’ refuse to see the need for policy reforms.
