This summer, the Columbus Symphony will pull out sheet music for “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “Tiny Dancer” and “When a Man Loves a Woman” — not to mention “Hang On Sloopy.” The music of the British band Queen and Elton John will be played at this summer’s edition of Picnic With the Pops, the schedule for which was announced Friday. The symphony will also team with singer-songwriter Michael Bolton and the Ohio State University marching band. All concerts will take place at the John F. Wolfe Columbus Commons, East Rich and South High streets. The season will kick off June 12 with the symphony pairing with a tribute band to perform the music of Queen.
