Naples Daily News Collier County commissioners approved unanimously on Tuesday a new leadership structure requested by County Manager Mark Isackson, who assumed control of the agency earlier this month. The new structure includes two deputy county managers, instead of one, and two Growth Management Department deputies to replace former Administrator Thaddeus Cohen. A budget amendment of $375,000 is necessary to cover separation pay and the relocation of three full-time equivalent positions into the county manager’s office, Isackson wrote in a report to the commissioners. The budget amendment will be offset with savings made in "strategic reorganization initiatives throughout the organization over the next six months," spokeswoman Deborah Curry wrote in an email Tuesday.
