And but this is more important than personal issues. I think the message thats resonating over and over and over again are Donald Trump as a direct threat to democracy . And three, Kamala Harris in this period of time for our country is going to be a steady or hand and a better president i think that resonates. I look at this as like a corporate restructuring project. So we figured we would come back, grab as much cash as possible and then head back we did issues with distribution. We kind of figured, alright, if we have a bunch of cash, how are we going to get this fairly distributed to people . How are we going to know who is going to need what Weve Kind of shifted our efforts to just bringing things like batteries baby formula, baby diapers, infant close, feminine hygiene products. Of course, clean water theres no clean water anywhere in the city and out surrounding cities to asheville has been fortunate and that weve received a lot of health and a lot of media attention. But there are so many small rural communities that have been more gravely affected and completely wiped out, including chimney rock, lake, lure, marshall. I know there for a lot of people there who have rapidly run out of food and water. So were just trying to figure out the best way to get the supplies that we have here, evenly distributed. So they had no way to contact me i mean, people are still missing by the thousands and their Loved Ones havent been able to contact them so yeah just not knowing being stuck In The Dark literally and figuratively, not having any idea whats going on, not knowing if our friends, our neighbors, our alive or okay it has been an extremely extremely traumatic experience. And i think the severity of it but were just starting to come to terms with everything. And how much of the city was actually wiped out id say half of the businesses are are gone. So a lot of people in asheville lost their livelihoods many of us are left without jobs. Fortunately, i work remotely, but, you know, everybody who has jobs in the areas that were affected lost them and the disillusionment is starting to set in and you know, were were trying to focus on how we can help now and also what were going to do for ourselves. So theres this interesting divide between wanting to show up for our communities in every way that we can. But also needing to take care of ourselves.
