So we need some place in this country that can hold the tensions that can say yep, i we dont agree with whats happening in gaza. But thats not going to lead us to cancel someone whose body of work is much bigger than this moment in time that were in and that can respectfully listened the views on all sides. Now, that said i dont think it would be in the president s interests to come here and give a Campaign Stump Speech what do you think would be in his interest best and i think what would be in his interest would be to answer three questions one why did i choose more house to come give this speech to connect to the soul of this place. What i detected something very particular. These children, young man, these guys dont know joe biden its right. We think joe biden has been an office for 40 years and every 50 years and Everybody Knows joe biden. Theyve been attention for two, four, maybe five years. They dont really know joe biden. The things that they would talk about biden were things that you may have heard the 2020 election about the crime bill or his other work but they dont know about his wife and daughter dying and a car crash literally, they dont know about what happened around his son, beau biden dieting. They dont understand the work he did with even thinking about talking about the appointments that hes made historically you didnt know even poor. Write that he was the least, he was the porous United States senator him, he got chosen to be vice president. People thought he was rich and that he was just another rich old white guy, frankly, who was trying to leave the country in a way that they didnt necessarily agree with. It was helpful. But if there is silent protest and some of the men stand and turn their back on. The president will it have been worth it . Will the president get out of this moment, obviously coming to an hbcu in a swing state. So important. Well, this has been the right decision to come to morehouse there will be silent protests.
