>> this is the new poll out of new hampshire, and the granite state is grading his performance at 55%, which is a tick better than the overall national approval, but you can break it down by party, and 85% of the democrats approve of the job in new hampshire, and a warning sign for joe biden with independents only 9%. so 65% of the likely democratic primary voters in new hampshire are going to write-in joe biden's name, and he is not on the ballot, because new hampshire has violated party rules still trying to go first even though biden has deemed south carolina to go first, but 65% is the big lead, and dean williams, and maryann williamson gaining traction. and what is the majority that everyone has concern? the president's age. 56% of democratic primary voters say that age is the biggest concern about joe biden and not electability or can he unite the party. at the top, the democrats believe he is the best shot despite the concern about age, and 54% of the likely democratic primary voters say that biden is the guy that gives them the best chances at keeping white house in democratic hands. and 28% like somebody else, and 18% are unsure. >> all right. now to the battle that a lot of people will be paying a lot of attention to in what this poll says, and how does joe biden stack up to donald trump in new hampshire? >>, so we didn't test the actual horse race here, but what we are going to see is that while joe biden's favorability numbers are underwater, donald trump's are worse. so, 54% have a favorable view, and that is a net negative of 19 point, but look at donald trump. 27% favorable, and 63% unfavorable, and this is a net negative of 36 points which is a problem of a state with four electoral votes but one you will both compete at. why is donald trump unpopular? maybe the legal woes, because in new hampshire, the legitimate prosecutions are taking place, and this is a legitimate effort, and 41% say they are politically motivated as donald trump asserts, and 62% of granite staters say that trump did commit crimes for which he has been charged, and 34% say no, and so 2/3 of new hampshire say he is guilty of committing a crime. now, looking at the party, 98% of the democrats believe he has committed crimes, and 51% of independents, and 1 in 5 republicans in new hampshire believe that donald trump has committed crimes. >> wow. those are stark numbers. the independents in both of the polls are very, very important group of people, especially in new hampshire, and we will watching and listening to you all day, and we are sure that you will get to them throughout the day, david chalian. thank you. things are moving fast on capitol hill. the chairman of the house ethics committee has filed paperwork to expel republican george santos. this is a significant move, because it is a noteworthy republican chairman of the house ethics committee who spent months going through the claims against george santos. the vote could happen soon after the lawmakers return from thanksgiving break, and there is growing momentum among the republicans that they have seen enough after the devastating ethics report, and 56-page report released yesterday laying out the wild claims that santos wildly misused campaign funds on everything from beauty treatments to personal trips to high end shopping at retail stores. cnn's lauren fox is joining us from capitol hill, and what are you hearing from the lawmakers, lauren, because it is significant that it is coming from the ethics chairman. >> yes, it is significant that the committee report did not include any recommendations to expel george santos, and the argument to be continuing the investigation would have taken so much more time, but obviously, it is a very important step given the mess messenger, and there have been previous attempts to expel george santos, and those coming from the republican colleagues from the state of new york, but this is significant because now there is an ethics report, and as members are reading it, they are changing their minds about how to proceed with a vote if and when it comes to the floor to expel george santos. at this point, cnn's count has at least a dozen republicans to try to oust santos from congress. this is a high bar, and two-thirds of the representatives to pass it, and because the democrats support it, you need 50% of the republicans to pass the resolution, and we will wait to see what happens after the thanksgiving break. and when the lawmakers returnings you could expect it to come up for a vote. we should also note that george santos is going on to have more to say, because he is holding a press conference on november 30th on capitol hill and this is when we could hear any additional news about the plans. he said yesterday in a tweet, he does not plan to run for re-election, and given the pressure, does that mean that he could be stepping aside? we will be watching closely. >> lauren fox, thank you. >> and with us, the senior data reporter is looking to see if he can get to 2/3 count to expel him, but what they are watching, the members of how unpopular he is, and so put it in historical context, harry. >> yes, and look at this from his own constituents. this is the third district this year, and just 7% had a favorable view of him, and this is tied with bob taft who was convicted of a crime before this poll was taken, and bob menendez who is in a number of cases, and rod wblagojevich who is a infamous criminal. >> and so welcome to the moment. and if this were the "tonight show" with johnny carson, they would say george santos is so unpopular, and how unpopular is he, and he is so unpopular that -- >> i loved johnny carson, and that is the 3rd district, and gnash nationally for the other ones. and the u.s. believe that the earth is flat, and the u.s. faked the moon landing. so he is so unpoplular that he s below the mendoza line. but in new york's 3rd district, you cannot get them to say that he is favorable view, and he is losing to the earth is flat. >> here, you are talking about the whip count, and they will need a number of republicans, but in the 3rd district in new york, he is not popular. and 71% of the republicans earlier in the year said they believed that he should resign, and so as the republicans are going to want to boot him, a number of the republicans will be all right. >> and so if the republicans say they have his numbers, but what they are looking at is the fourth congressional district of george e santos is one that biden won in 2020, and so it was switched in 2016, and so, it could be a tossup. >> thank you, harry. sara? >> spacex is now set again to launch the most powerful rocket ever built. plus, a new rape and abuse accusation against sean "diddy" combs, and why his exbirlfriend -- ex-girlfriend is filing a lawsuit. and his response. and now, some civilians wanting to flee to safety, and you to see the harrowing firsthand account coming up. this morning, a doctor work inside of gaza's largest hospital is offering a grim assessment. a doctor in the burn center inside that hospital said that all of the patients on ventilators have died. and the idf have said they have discovered two hostages who have died. they are yehudit weiss and noa marciano. their bodies have been taken back to israel. the idf is estimating 237 hostages are still being held by hamas inside of gaza. and idf also has released this with regard to the operation at the al shifa medical complex. the video of what they say is a operational tunnel shaft at the hospital. the idf has said for years that hamas hid and shielded the operation by hiding it underneath the hospital there. u.s. intelligence from the biden administration, they say, backs up that claim. joining me now for more on this and some perspective of this ongoing operation, is former director of national u.s. intelligence shawn turner. it is good to see you again. >> good to see you, kate. >> i wanted to ask you about the images released from the idf with regard to this operational tunnel shaft. it does seem, it does seem significant, but it also seems that what they have released from what they say they have so far found in the operation, it is still a vast command that hamas has within the hospital, a command center which we have heard also from the white house. what are you seeing in this? >> yeah, it is good to see you, kate. when i am looking at the images, a couple of things come the mind. one, we have known for a very long time that there is a vast tunnel infrastructure underneath gaza. it is military and intelligence imagery have shown us entry and exit point, and clear understanding that hamas operates underground, but what has not been clear to this point is where the major command nodes are. that is something that not only has the u.s. intelligence struggled with, but certainly, the israeli intelligence as well. so when i am looking at the imagery, i am not surprised they found the tunnel entrance, but i am interested what exactly they are finding in the space, because what is there is going to tell us if there is a command center there, whether or not that space has power and has internet access and the things that we know are underground. until i see those things, i think it is difficult for us to make any claims other than tunnel infrastructure, and image of a space underneath there. >> and shawn, also i wanted the ask you about the idf talking about the two bodies of two hostages recovered and taken back to israel, and on going negotiations of the sources over the larger release of hostages. first and foremost, why would the hostage-taker in this case hamas, agree to release a sizable number of hostages that they have as the white house says is under intense negotiations, and give me some intelligence into this. >> yeah. you know, kate, it is not an assessment that anyone wants to hear, but i think that we are at a point that the likelihood that we will see a negotiated release of hostages is diminishing everyday. it is diminishing faster everyday. that is a grim assessment, but look, this is the bottom line. as we continue to see the images on the ground, and what is happening in gaza, and not only at al shifa, but other places, the images, and that situation will have an impact on the terrorists who are holding these innocent civilians, and the innocent hostages, and that i will make decisions based on what they are seeing. unfortunate i l the image are of a result that we are likely going to see that the release is coming through intelligence, where the israeli forces are to learn more of where these hostages are, and to carry out the military we are be realistic for what is on to ground, and a goot release of positioning there on to ground in gaza. >> shawn, thank you for coming in, and appreciate it. >> that is going to be really, really hard for the families to hear. now, to gaza where it is too dangerous to stay and only 30 minutes toley. now, we are hearing the story of one family and the desperate escape out of northern gaza. like any war, it is disturbing, and graphic images and gruesome, but it is important for you have to see what is happening on the ground there. >> reporter: gaza city, the 2-year-old is distracted from the most difficult night of the war so far. with day break, there is a cause for the military to tell them to hold up, and they prepare to move with white flags to hold up. [ speaking in a global language ] with the little they can carry, they head out into the unknown with what little they can carry. the journalist is filming with more than 30 of their neighbors. the phone in his right hand and his son in the other. he speaks french with his son looking for his wife ahead. >> yeah, mama. >> reporter: and while waiting for other elderly neighbors struggling to catch up. that constant buzz that you are hearing is the israeli buzz overhead, and it is a constant sound they have heard for years. and now, he spots his neighbor up ahead. something is not right. [ speaking in a global language ] a >> ahmed was shot in the head, and he didn't make. and up around the corner, it is another woman, and uncertain who shot them. cnn has traced this deadly journey out of gaza city, and we have been provided with the detail tas and coordinates, but we have not been responded with with the coordinates. we reached rami, and like most here, they were on their own. they got to shifa hospital, but so did the war. witness to it all, 2-year-old walid. >> translator: i kept trying to make sure that he was not scared and making sure that what he is seeing is a circus or amusement park, and even the amusement where you take a donkey here or there and try to make it amusing for him. >> i asked him why he decided to film? >> i wanted it to go to the world, because they cast doubt on everything that we do, they are stronger in every way, and not just militarily, but the information that comes out, narrative that comes out, the news that comes out and what they say is the truth, and our words are lies. please deliver our message, i don't want those who died in vein. >> reporter: and he says, those have been forced from their home at gunpoint or dead. cnn, hondon. >> and she has delivered the message to the world. what a harrowing story. and israel says that evacuations are under way to minimize the casualties, but there are millions of civilians who have died there in gaza, and the hamas says more than 11,400 people who have been killed including 4,700 children. john. >> all right. unprecedented volcanic eruptions in important population centers, and what they are told to do, and strong denial from sean combs after his girlfriend says he abuse and sex trafficked her for years. this morning, cnn has learned that the nypd, the new york police department, is not actively investigating sean "diddy" combs after his girlfriend has been accusing him of years of abuse. she has filed a lawsuit saying that he controlled her personal life and forced her to have sex with other men, and combs calls lawsuit baseless and his attorney says that the claims are baseless. omar hi jimenez, what are you saying? >> as far as we know, diddy not being investigated, because they don't have a complaint on file as of now. and this complaint that we are talking about is a federal civil complaint, and in this, this is when cassie alleges that over the more than a decade period that he was physically abusive, that he forced her into sex trafficking acts, and controlled every aspect of her life, and in 2018, she alleges that when she tried to break up with him, diddy forced himself into her home, and raped her. they felt in 2005 and she was 19 and he was 37, and around then she became engrossed and alleges because of him in this lifestyle of heavy drug use and heavy alcohol use, and she still feels the effects of it today. now a little bit of the statement she put out says that after years of silence and darkness, i am finally ready to tell my story and speak up on behalf of myself and the benefit of other women who face violence and abuse in their relationships. >> how is combs responding to this? >> they are completely denying what is coming out, and they call these claims outrageous, and for their statement, for the past six months, mr. combs has been subjected to her persistent and threat of millions of dollars under the threat of writing a book which is blatant blackmail. now, with the with drawl of the first lawsuit, now she has a lawsuit aiming to tarnish mr. combs' reputation and demanding a payday. she is seeking monetary damages, but looking at the scope and the breadth of the allegations, she is feeling that based on what she says happened, she wants diddy held accountable. >> the shocking allegations. omar jimenez, thank you very much. kate? >> new warning from authorities in iceland. thousands of tremors have shaken the region, and officials are now allowing the residents in one evacuated town in the south to return home, but quickly to retrieve the belongings and get out. derek van dam is tracking this, and what are you hearing about the probability of the risk and what the tremors have already done in the towns that you can see. >> and some of the mini earthquakes are because of a corridor of magma that is flowing underneath to a town in southwestern iceland, and get this, it has dropped portions of the town by upwards of three feet or one meter. you can see it in this imagery below, but it is begging the question, why in the world would as magma is pushing to the surface of the earth allow for the ground to drop like that? well, it is turning out as the magma is flowing to the sound of grendivik, the ground above is going on the thin, and eventually, we will get the sinking motion, and known as a drop by upwards of three feet. it is incredible to see it, and what is more incredible is that satellites have been able to detect it as far away as space. you are looking at the satellite image, and this is the town here of grendivik and the shading of purple is one meter or more of roughly three feet in the drop of the ground, and this is incredible. you line it up, -- and you can magma there and they are afraid that the lava is going to spew out of the ground. >> thank you for that. >> that is terrifying. the countdown for the launch is on, and these are live picture of spacex which is going make a second attempt to launch the starship tomorrow. why it is critical for spacex and turns out for nasa as well. we will be back. you don't hear much about this, but a brutal war has been raging in sudan and with it. reports of potential war crimes. cnn's chief international correspondent is hearing rsf paramilitary group's activity. this is some of her exclusive reporting. >> reporter: one by one survivors come forward to share what has happened to them. >> translator: i held my 5-year-old brother and ran to the mosque and the rsf shot him. they said, leave these one, and we will find better ones to sell. these ones, rape them. >> reporter: these are the hallmarks of genocide. we interviewed over a 100 witnesses. through their testimony, we could pinpoint key neighborhoods where civilians were targeted and women were sold from slave houses. places like these dormitories where they counted girls abducted in one fell swoop. there is nowhere safe here. that is a portion of the reporting that we have seen, and this sunday, it will air on anderson cooper, and she is with us now. and nim a, this is so deeply personal, because it is your birthplace, but how did you get to people, because it is dangerous in and of itself going in. >> we actually crossed into suecas sudan from south sudan so we were crossing width of the county, and our previous investigation which connected rsf with the russia wagner group resulted in an indictment against me. it was challenging, and i would not recommend it necessarily, but we got so much out of it, and we had to fly out of it and fly to chad, because in that fort where the survivors are from, the rsf have essentially besieged it, and the ones that you saw in the clip they were the lucky few who had escaped with their lives. i have to say, i have been doing this for so long, you have as well, but you hear so many awful stories, but the descriptions of the survivors that they gave us about the humiliation, and the enslavement and the devastation, i, yeah, they were very difficult to hear. i imagine infinitely more to experience. >> you heard the stories of ethnic cleansing that has been going on. can you give us some sense of what has really stuck with you? >> the fact, just the fact that this current situation in darfur has all of the hallmarks of genocide, but it will be, if it is proven to be genocide, the second genocide to happen to the same people in the same region just within this century. i guess that you have to ask who is to blame, and i think it is the world for looking away. >> you know, i was going to bring this up, because, we talk a lot ad nauseam in ukraine where it has just exploded, but we don't, and this is somewhat our fault not talking about for what is happening for so long in sudan, and have had a chance to speak to your family, and what has happened there? >> my parents were caught in a district very close to the nile, and so very strategic for the rsf and the battle. and complimenting the matters further, they absolutely refused to evacuate, because they themselves are journalist, and the idea of leaving their country in this current circumstance, we eventually got them to agree, and they are in cairo now. you know, we talk so much about these story of the refugees and displacement, but really, until you have lived it with your family, that sense of uncertainty, and the lack of a home, a place, and my father was saying to me, how long will this take, and where will you bury us if we die here? those are the things that eat away at you, to be forced from your home and not knowing if you can come back. >> i will tell you that seeing you, and your family laugh and knowing work that you have been doing, it was a beautiful moment in this horrible chaos, and to see that is beautiful, but they must be incredibly proud of you, and we cannot wait to see this, nima. >> thank you, sara. >> kate? >> this is a chance for the spacex big launch but as the company own ser being condemned by the white house and many more for promoting an ti semitic koon conspiracy theory. >> and more on the campaign strategy of how the president plans to take on donald trump now, and why it is described to cnn as the gloves are coming off. we are coming back. c'mon, we're right there. c'mon baby. it's the only we need. go, go, go, go! ah! touchdown baby! -touchdown! are your neighbors watching the same game? yeah, my 5g home internet delays the game a bit. but you get used to it. try these. they're noise cancelling earmuffs. i stole them from an airport. it's always something with you, man. great! solid! -greek salad? exactly! don't delay the game with verizon or t-mobile 5g home internet. catch it on the xfinity 10g network. just in, the white house says that elon musk's tweet endorse ing an anti-semitic conspiracy theory is, quote, unaccept isable and abhorrent promotion of racist hate. mosque forwarded a white supremacist theory that jewish communities push hatred against whites. so while that's going on, musk's test launch of their rocket has been pushed back a day. back in april the first test launch exploded. it just blew up. defense sport kristin fischer is with us with the latest. what does it mean? >> reporter: it was delayed a day due to a piece of the rocket that's called the grid fin act waiter. it's a part of the rocket that's used to steer the rocket booster as it makes its way back down to ert. no official word from the company that it has been fixed, but you can if see behind had me, you can see it's now in its fully stacked configuration, which is the configuration needed for it to fly. so all signs are pointing to a launch second test flight of the rocket tomorrow morning at 8:00 a.m. eastern time. and as you mentioned, this is going to be the second test flight, the first one back in april. and there's a relate chance that this test flight is going to end in an explosion too because this is what spacex likes to do. they like to push their rocket to the very limit to see how it responds, see how it reacts. that's how they will learn. it's part of their design process. so we'll see. but that first explosion back in april caused some major concerns with the faa, safety concerns about the flight termination system. it triggered a service investigation due to possible dangers to engaged species that live in the area. that wrapped up two days ago. so this launch now happening seven months after that first test flight. when this rocket lifts off, it is the biggest, most powerful rocket ever to fly. spacex is going to be watching to see if its improvements in designs have worked. then nasa is going to be watching to see how it does because this rocket is absolutely kcritical to nats is a's program to return astronauts to the moon in 2025. there's real concern if this doesn't work, china could beat nasa back to the lunar surface. >> they do need rocket this is will not blow up. thank you so much for being there for us. >> i'm going to blow it up. >> it's a little bit of pr. say ing we want it to blow. generally, not a good thing. >> "inside politics" is up next.
