They would control roughly 80 of the black sea territory. So economically 80 . 80 . That would be incredibly damaging. Also, if they take control of mariupol, then their troops are free to fight the new offensive in the donbas region. But also, the third point really is, it would create the Land Corridor that you and i have talked about for a long time between mariupol and crimea. It would be a major win. That is why we have seen President Putin try to sell it to his people today as liberating mariupol. I think its important to take putins language and put into human language. It would be a huge loss for him. That are cat tombs. He is trying to block them and see if they can, with no weaponry, no food, they can wear them out. It would be urban combat. You would have to have a Patton Tank Army to fight through 300 kilometers of open field with tanks, with the heavy weapons and heavy artillery that the Ukrainian Military just doesnt have. They are surrounded. There is really nothing they could do. Potentially it could come from the sea. But that would be an act of war, from natos side, in order to do it. At this point, unfortunately the city is lost. Wow. And maybe the lives of those civilians there. The Russian Military continues to face some of the problems we saw up north. Supply issues. And this is the first time they have ever actually had to compete on a streaming basis with companies that have much bigger libraries than they have and much better titles, better known titles. So two more men went out to look for them, and these two men were shot just outside their busby the russian army. And then yesterday, by accident, we found our two guys, the zookeepers in the bathroom. They were shot from guns. They were shot right in the bathroom. And the scary weapons that they were carrying were a bucket full of carrots and the second was carrying feed for the dogs. So these were the scary ukrainian fighters that the russian army decided to destroy. When they did decide to stay behind, despite the threat from Russian Forces, heavy shelling, did you try to convince them to leave with Everyone Else . And what did they tell you at the time as to why they stayed . Translator this was their duty. Thief understood this to be their duty. We of course explained to them this was dangerous and we could come out ourselves and feed the animals. But the animals were starving. This was their job. They didnt want to leave. They said thats what theyre going to do. And this was their life, the zoo. It wasnt just a job for them. It was their life. And they left Young Children behind whom of course we will take care of. And they have lost their fathers. And they were killed. They were killed just because somebody didnt like their faces. Now, the zoo suffered other losses as well. Can you tell us how much was lost there . Translator we have lost everything. We have lost 100 of the zoo. We have managed to save the animals. Weve just got a few missions left to save the most dangerous ones, bears and tigers. But 100 of the zoo is gone. And just destroyed in strikes, air strikes. And just the other day a shell fell on the areas where we kept the horse stables. Ten minutes after we managed to get the horses out. So we have to rebuild the zoo. And we have to move the animals and create a new zoo for the animals that were saved. Theres nothing to save. Theres nothing left to save in the zoo. Maybe just the tulips and roses that it was famous for. But we have managed to save almost all the animals. We just lost one chimpanzee to a heart attack. And two orangutans were killed by shrapnel. These animals are quite dangerous. We had a large collection of apes. Theyre not like your household pets. So it is quite a difficult job. We need to create a new zoo for them. And we are being helped. We need a lot of people, a lot of labor to carry heavy stuff, to load stuff onto vehicles. And we are being helped by volunteers and local zoos help us. Yeah, we have lost everything. I just wanted to add, so we just had a walk about the zoo. And all the animals in the cages, there isnt a single enclosure where there isnt a dead animal. And they died just of stress as well as the strikes. Or the young animals died because they were squeezed or they just died in the commotion. And everywhere, in every cage, be it lions or jaguars or goats or camels, there are some dead. Most live young animals. And basically we lost them all, even the rare animals that we acquired recently. Yeah. This was a world famous zoo. This was a zoo namous in all of ukraine and in europe. We were known for our kind attitudes to the animals and for our very good care. And now every enclosure has an animal dead.
