Fired newly developed long Range Cruise missiles. They say they have been developing these for a couple of years, significant to say that the North Korean leader kim jongun does not appear to be saying it was one of the more significant Missile Launches weve seen and also it was on page 2 of the local staterun media, rather than on the front page which is what we usually see. It was not a ballistic missile which means it didnt violate any Security Council resolutions. But also, any Missile Launch from North Korea will concern those in the region. Weve already heard from the south korean side. They say that quite often, with these cruise missiles, you do learn about them after the event once they have launched. And they pointed out, that there were a couple of launches earlier this year as well from North Korea which they didnt disclose. They dont always disclose these cruise missiles. So it is a departure from what weve been seeing. The fact that they have not been launching missiles. But it is not one of the more worrying launch thats we have seen. Just last week we saw a Military Parade from North Korea from the 73rd anniversary of the foundation of the country. And it was not very missile heavy. There wasnt a missile in sight. There was some military hardware but it seemed more focused toward covid19, for example. There was a unit that was the front Line Defense of covid19. Thats what we have been seeing from North Korea. They also focused on a Food Crisis within the country, which the North Korean leader himself even alluded to, which is highly unusual, showing it must be of some concern. This is reason we havent been seeing these Missile Launches recently. But this one did happen over the weekend according to staterun media. And what is the refraction the u. S. . So far, it has been quiet. We have heard the reaction from south korea. We have reached out to the State Department and the pentagon and we have not heard from they will. This is certainly something that will get a lot of attention here. Certainly something very worrying. This was announced by the North Koreans local time in pyongyang. And this is something that the biden administration, if they dont address it tonight, they will be tomorrow morning. As paula was alluding to, it is not on a scale of 110, this is an 10 for a number of reasons because this is something theyre allowed to test. In terms of the dpistance these missiles flew, according to staterun media, the target is 1,500 kilometers away, almost 1,000 miles away. Hawaii is 4,600 miles from pyongyang and this didnt even go 1,000 miles. So we have not yet heard from the u. S. Yet. They did not flaunt, as paula was saying, their missiles in this last parade that they had just a couple nights ago. But we should note the timing. This happened over a very significant weekend here in the u. S. When this country was focused very much on marking the 20th anniversary of 9 11. And it is over this weekend that these Missile Tests happened. We saw ballistic Missile Tests, which as weve said, are more significant back in march. And a series of them, in fact, and President Biden said at the time that there would be responsed if North Korea continued thood. This that was seen at the time for way for North Korea to say, hey, Pay Attention to us. This to the new administration. We should note after a flurry of activity between the u. S. And North Korea during the trump administration, in terms of getting them on denuclearize which ultimately failed, those talks have come to a standstill. So no progress has been made during the biden administration on North Korea and this week in the coming days, President Bidens Special End Voluntary will be in the region in tokyo speaking with japanese counter parts. I bring you back in. This is on staterun media on page two. How credible are these claims . Well, if it comes from staterun media, then that is the source from North Korea. This is how we found out things from North Korea. No other source of news comes out from the country. It is all highly choreographed so this is definitely incredible. We know this is what North Korea wants the world to know. The fact south koreans have confirmed as well they believe this has happen, it is an interesting development. The fact that it has been launched by North Korea and not south korea, not the united states. We know when this has happened before, the cruise missiles, they havent always announced it. They havent always publicly stated it. And North Korea hand always publicly stated it as well. So this is a question, why is it this time around . Why is it important for them to the the world this is happening . That takes an emotional toll. At some point if concern is not extended to the Health Care workers, there will be less and less compassion extended to patients as they come in as well. And what about just helping them, you talk about the emotional toll. But their Mental Health. I talked on doctors who have cried on this program because they are telling families of unvaccinated patients time and time again they have to say a final goodbye. What about helping medical workers with their Mental Health during this . I cant imagine how difficult it is. It is incredibly difficult. We have many, many services to help with the motional toll, the long hours. If you can imagine, we are following very strict science and then we walk right outside the hospital and people seem to not have any awareness at all that there is a pandemic going on. Even though youve been putting your high of on the line for most of the day and the evening. F it is programs we dont need at this time. And i think more republican Theres Rally behind Joe Manchin and make sure we get closer to Joe Manchins number. And further away from Bernie Sanders and the progressive socialist agenda. I would love if alice was right, saying republicans are going to support Joe Manchin. Theyre not going to support any democrat. I mean, come on. I would love to believe that. And republicans should listen to you. When you are that far away from something, when you both fundamentally believe this has to happen and i think that they do. Then we will come to an agreement. When we talk about this new Cnn Polling that shows republicans and republican leaning independents say 63 to 37 , that theyre okay with trump as the leader of the republican party. When asked if he should be at the top of the ticket in 2024, 51 said yes and 49 said no. It is just, look at that. Look how his popularity has wanld since 2019 when more than three quarters of republicans thought he was an advantage to the party. So what does that tell you . It tells you hes an advantage to the base of the party. And he still has strong support among the base and we need to keep that. But rational minded republicans understand that politics is a game. Addition. We have to grow from. That we have to keep the solid Trump Support Orders Board and we have to go out and do what we can. Focus on policy and not personality. And persuade the people we lost in the 2020 election and get them back on board. We can do so. I think it is really important to keep Donald Trump with regard to the base of the party. But there are many people out there. Not necessarily in this poll. But realize, we need to get back to the core principles of republican party, limited government, national security, and individual responsibility. Those are the policy thats will help grow the party and thats where we need to focus well do well in the midterms. Thats where many people in the party, on the ground, in the states are focusing. And mean time you have Joe Biden with his lowest Approval Ratings. What does he need to do to get Book Track . It is, if you say lowest approval rating. He is at 52 and Donald Trump never, ever, ever thought coget tom point. So yes, his Approval Ratings have gone down but lets look at what he has faced.
