And i understand from one source that at timeS People get asked to try to go to the gate to collect somebody fast they were going to the backyard. These gates are very secure and very volatile, so we have a very hard task for everybody involved in that base under perilous security conditions, great desperation from afghans around them and the window for it is now very small. Cnn had Reporting Yesterday that was just so riveting about a woman who came to the airport, dressed her baby in bright yellow because the american military had been told look for the woman with the baby in the yellow. I mean, that was a series of Text Messages and whatsapp messages to try to connect this woman who needed to get out. And it was successful, but in many cases it is just luck, right . And it is connections. And being at the right place at the right time. Reporter it is who you know. It is who you know. It is extraordinary to there has been a system here for u. S. Visa applicants. And so when Secretary Of State Antony Blinken talks about 500 for certain americans that need to get out and 1,000 who they are looking for and might need their assistance, that is of course high priority. It was denied permission and flew off and it is thought that it contains another congressional delegation. It does seem as though another private jet has tried to bring more in. There is a call on our resources diplomatically, politically, militarily and the rest in the region as well. So this is deadly serious. We do not want members to go. I dont think others really have the opportunity to go since everything is being pulled out and i dont think that it is smart for others to go. This Body Camera Footage from May 2019 appears to show now former Louisiana State Police Officer Jacob brown beating Aaron Larry Bowman as other officers hold bowman down. Trooper brown is seen swinging what appears to be a flashlight repeatedly striking bowman while he is face down on the ground with his hands behind his head. Bowmans attorney saying brown hit their client 18 times in just 24 seconds. Havent did nothing, man. Fighting us aint going to help you, bud. Im not fighting you. You are. Reporter bowman can be later heard moaning saying it hurt me. Bowman was left with multiple lacerations, a fractured arm, and broken ribs according to court documents. This video is from more than two years ago, but was just recently turned over to bowmans attorneys. State police releasing a statement in december saying a detailed search of Body Camera Video Reach Vealed The Incident was intentionally mislabeled and brown was involved and detectives concluded that brown engaged in excessive and unjustifiable actions and failed to report the use of force to his supervisors. Brown was charged with aggravated second Degree Battery and malfeasance in office in december. But The Incident iS Part of a bigger issue, the division of Louisiana State police where brown worked, Troop F, is under federal investigation for potential abuses committed by troopers against black motorists. The troop that he belongs to, Troop F, is notorious and they have left a lot of victims and families in their wake. Reporter the Troop F investigation started following the death of ronald green, a Black Man who died after he was beaten and tased during a Traffic Stop also in may of 2019. Greens family say they were told by Louisiana State police that green died in a Car Crash following a chase. But nine Body Camera and Dash Camera videos tell a different story of what happened that night. Now will the leadership be stirred in to action to hold these officers accountable to dismantle this troop and to address the policies that allowed this to go forward, to address the coverup from the prosecutors on down.
