It is a rare thing for us. So to counsel and go through death and the dying process with people who are so young and their families, it is just an added strain on top of this last year which has been so difficult. Im talking, well, we have some kids in the Childrens Hospital and more kids in the Childrens Hospital than weve had at any other time in the pandemic. Luckily kids under the age of 18 overall still do well. You never want your kid admitted to the hospital. To see those Numbers Rise is upsetting. What is really taxing the system, the 20, 30, 40 and 50yearolds. They live their normal life. Theyre running triathlons, theyre going to work every day, theyre bringing their kids to school in a couple of days. Instead of thinking about those things, their families are thinking, how do i get to see them for a few Hours Today . Is today the Day Theyll be intubated . And were seeing a growing number of the people in that Age Group being intubated. Yeah. And thats not a good sign. Its been nearly a month since the taliban penetrated afghanistans second largest city. Since again, these men havent had a break. U. S. Air strikes only come in an emergency. The rest time it is up to them to hold the line. We feel a little weak without u. S. Air strikes and Ground Support and equipment, he says. But this is our soil. We have to defend it.
