Weve seen it so many times before and people do come back in some fashion but it all depends on how you go out. And i said there just was no turning around at this point. I didnt see any path to him being able to overcome this. I feel badly for the governor because i dont see him as a bad person at all. Hes done so much good but this is an unfortunate set of circumstances and now we are where we are. You said in your Href='https://vimarsana.com/news/phone-call'>Phone Call with him he was focused on and correct me if im wrong, his defense, right, in all of this and so im yes . So im wondering, i just want to get your take then because this was his Href='https://vimarsana.com/news/defense-yesterday'>Defense Yesterday that videotape response. Here it is. I do it with everyone, black and white, young and old, straight and lgbtq, powerful people, friends, strangers, people who i meet on the street. I do kiss people on the forehead. If that was all there was, i dont think we would be where we are today. The problem comes in from the other women who alleged that either they were touched, there was one that said that in particular, one said kissed or just felt just made uncomfortable in the workplace and i think thats where, you know, the difficulty arises for him and i dont think he addressed that sufficiently in that taped interview and i dont think the taped interview actually, you know, went over the way i suspect head was hoping it would. Is there any truth to his assertion that this is politically motivated . Well, look, the facts are the facts and that is separate and can be exclusive of the fact that there are political motivations among numbers of people. New york is a very complex state and there is a lot going on and the governors are a very powerful strong governor that made a lot of enemies over the years and a lot of people would like to see him go for political policy reasons and the promotion of their own agendas but that has nothing to do with the attorney Href='https://vimarsana.com/news/generals-report'>Generals Report and that has nothing to do with the conclusions that were drawn unfortunately. Those are separate and distinct issues and while i agree on one hand there is certainly some of that, the facts still remain the facts and we just have to live with those facts. I got a quick question before i let you go. He said he was focused on his defense and didnt characterize if he would step down or anything like that. If he doesnt step down, where do you see this going, impeachment, removal from office, conviction . What do you see . I do. I think the troubles begin to mount and the assembly will be moving at a much faster pace than we ever thought before. I think there is a consensus in the assembly that he should be impeached that could happen within a matter of weeks if not sooner and then he goes to the senate i dont see any possible way he avoids conviction and i think that would be a terrible end to a great career. I think it would be a stain on a legacy that certainly deserves, you know, admiration for so many parts of it and im just hopeful that he listens to the advice that hes been getting, advice perhaps i gave him and others are giving him im sure the president of the united states has given him.
