That was very narrowly tailored to what happened in philadelphia. The agency won, but three other justices, alito, Gore Sunks and thomas, they wanted their colleagues to go much further, to really have an opinion that had nationwide implications and they didnt have the vote to issue such a big opinion and thats because Barrett And Cavanaugh werent ready to go that far. So its interesting because that issue was key to President Trumps base. They wanted a big ruling here and they may have felt like the Supreme Court, although The Agency won, fell a little short of that landmark opinion. Weve also seen other instances where the conservative majority ruled against the President Trump. Keep in mind, be sure conservative courts will be trumps lasting legacy and he put in these three Supreme Court justices. In the short term, he didnt always win. Remember, he wanted the Election Results overturned. They ruled without comment, they wouldnt rule against him and remember he wanted them to block the leak of his Tax Returns and the court without comment didnt step in to block it.
