This is the exact season when the action is happening. As you can expect it, maybe a little messy, a few steps forward, a few steps back. Its not going to be perfect for everybody. I think folks in our party are right to point out this has to be a plan that looks to the future. Yes, this year, next year, but also the middle of the century when well be looking back on the early 20s and saying, this is when america started to win the future or this is where we blew it. Thats why the other set of talks didnt get there. The president was willing to move a trillion. He went from 2. But we see so much opportunity right now for america to be able to move forward in a way that the american people elected the president to lead us to do.
