But what the president is making clear over the course of the first four months of the administration, the administration has averaged more than 500,000 jobs per month. And that has led to a pretty tangible recovery. HoWever there is a lot of work to do. And still a lot of uncertainty about what the economy is going to look like coming out of a once in a century pandemic. Take a listen. But also coming out of a once in a century pandemic. So the president trying to lay the groundwork for the idea that what they have put in place up to this point has worked. What theyre trying to do in the future will just be more of that. And that if things dont look great in all of the individual economic data the next couple months, dont worry. We are not near that number right now. The numbers are up relative to last month when there was a big miss. And thats a good thing that employers are hiring. But at the moment it seems like part of the problem is that the Href='https://vimarsana.com/news/labor-force'>Labor Force just is not growing. There are many feWer people in the Href='https://vimarsana.com/news/labor-force'>Labor Force which means theyre either working or actively looking for Href='https://vimarsana.com/news/work-today'>Work Today versus before the pandemic began. And thats probably due to a host of different reasons. But thats why you hear a lot of employers complaining they have openings and the official government data suggests that there are more vacancies that are available than are being filled. And that theyre having trouble finding workers. Where are the workers . It depends who you ask. Republicans say the problem is the generous Href='https://vimarsana.com/news/unemployment-benefits'>Unemployment Benefits. People make more staying home than going out and pounding the pavement. For some people for a temporary period of time. It is reasonable to think that for some people that outside option that they have they have more generous Href='https://vimarsana.com/news/unemployment-benefits'>Unemployment Benefits to fall on could factor into the decision whether to return to work or not. HoWever, its probably a very tiny share of the people sitting on the sidelines. And the reason i say that is that there are so many other factors that are causing workers to be hesitant about returning to work, or unable for that matter to return to work. A number of the concerns should be lessenening and vaccinations go up aen people get more comfortable going back to work and social distancing measures, et cetera, get pulled back. So its a factor. And its a noticeable factor but a small one relative to all of the other things going on here. Lets compare what actually happened to the expectations. He is clearly trying to set aside the fact that We missed expectations. To be fair, the forecasts Were all over the place. I mean some people Were forecast being 670,000. Some people forecasting 300,000 or Href='https://vimarsana.com/news/a-million'>A Million or whatever. There was so much uncertainty that i dont want to emphasize that forecast miss too much. Okay. And he is clearly not emphasizing it. He is arguing that the economy is on an upswing. We are reopening, things working as planned. Now is is the time to invest in the longer term Href='https://vimarsana.com/news/jobs-growth'>Jobs Growth strategies, things like infrastructure, or, you know, providing more Href='https://vimarsana.com/news/child-care'>Child Care Href='https://vimarsana.com/news/child-care'>Child Care services and things that could help support peoples return to work. But those are longer term programs as opposed to the immediate need. The immediate need of the economy is still getting the public Href='https://vimarsana.com/news/health-crisis'>Health Crisis in the remember view mirror. Because thats what whats holding things back. Lets talk about the sfrad, though. Because the president has come down to 1 trillion. Republicans say that theyve come up to 928 billion. Because there is the debate about the new money versus previous spending. You read my mind. You could imagine maybe a handful. But you got to get to ten in order to pass this tHrough regular order. So the parties are the two sides are very far apart where they are now. And We have to get serious about cracking down and trying to stop them, more so than what We are right now. Next on a meat processing plant. The agency charged with protecting the network. And its for the resource for the private sector. Remember government doesnt have clear Href='https://vimarsana.com/news/responsibility-or-authority'>Responsibility Or Authority over the Href='https://vimarsana.com/news/private-sector-critical-infrastructure'>Private Sector Critical Infrastructure because its owned and operated in private hands. We can get serious about some regulatory authority and We should. But it fleeds to be a public private partnership. And sisa needs the inherent capability and people to do the job to be a valued Href='https://vimarsana.com/news/partner-and-resource'>Partner And Resource to Href='https://vimarsana.com/news/private-sector-critical-infrastructure'>Private Sector Critical Infrastructure. The reason its so important to apply Href='https://vimarsana.com/news/security-patches'>Security Patches is because Href='https://vimarsana.com/news/security-researchers'>Security Researchers have identified vulnerabilities, basically identified in your house lets say an open window, Href='https://vimarsana.com/news/unlocked-door'>Unlocked Door and basically saying a private patch is closing up the avenues where the attacker can get in. Also if you back up your systems if you get hit with the Href='https://vimarsana.com/news/ransomware-attack'>Ransomware Attack very likely you can reconstitute the network without paying the ransom. I dont believe in paying the ransom. But in some cases i understand businesses have had to make the business decision. Is it more costly to reconstitute the network and start from scratch and pay the ransom . Unfortunately some businesses had to make the decision to pay the ransom. We know that the paying of the ransom promotes more of the ransomware hacks. Before We let you go We know that Href='https://vimarsana.com/news/fbi-director'>Fbi Director Href='https://vimarsana.com/news/cHristopher-wray'>CHristopher Wray singled out the russians. And talked about specifically allowing the hacker groups to operate within Href='https://vimarsana.com/news/russia-and-response'>Russia And Response from the kremlin was that that was an emotional response and that there are hackers all over the world. We know that russia is unique in this space but not exclusive. Whats your response to that reaction from the kremlin . Clearly the kremlin is trying to push in aside and pretend there is nothing to see here. I believe the intelligence shows the criminal organizations are acting within russian borders. And if russia is looking the other way and allowing these criminal organizations that are carrying out the Href='https://vimarsana.com/news/ransomware-attack'>Ransomware Attacks to act with immunity, no responsibility, theyre not trying to crack down, then russia bears responsibility.
