It is this nonsense and i think more republican members need to call this out. Thats part of why the base is believing this nonsense. Theyre not hearing an alternative point of view. Members would ask me for a personal favor but it usually had to do with something in their district. Would you vote for this . This will impact the district this way. I understand that. One should never ask a personal favor on a matter of conscience or consequential policy where they have strong views. I think this is a black mark for republican whos failed to adopt this bipartisan commission. I think that would be the best way to find truth rather than what will happen now. It will be very partisan in nature. Theyll still have to talk about it. Republicans wont be able to avoid talking about January 6th going forward. We can move on but that is not what will happen.
