Cleveland firefighters and paramedics rescue two from Lake Erie near East Side fishing marina

A man and a woman were rescued out of the water at Lake Erie on Sunday May 2, 2021 by the fire department and Cleveland EMS.
CLEVELAND, Ohio — Cleveland firefighters and paramedics late Sunday pulled two people from Lake Erie near an East Side fishing area.
Firefighters and paramedics about 11:20 p.m. pulled the 22-year-old woman and 23-year-old man from the water near fishing area near East 72nd Street in Gordon Park.
Both suffered minor injuries and paramedics took them to University Hospitals, Cleveland EMS spokesman Chris Chapin said. Both are expected to survive.
