Hopkinsville, KY, USA / WHOP 1230 AM | News Radio Jul 6, 2021 | 7:28 PM Hopkinsville City Council heard an update from Atmos Energy at Tuesday’s meeting and approved the closure of a portion of East 11th Street. Atmos Energy has been performing maintenance on several streets within the City of Hopkinsville recently, and Ryan Tobert says they intend to wrap up work on East 17th Street soon and from there will continue their South Main Street work. He says that has caused some traffic flow issues while the work is ongoing, but they’re hopeful to have work completed by September of October.
