The Center for Innovation and Sustainability in Local Media (CISLM) has released findings from a statewide diversity audit of North Carolina newsrooms.CISLM, housed at the UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media, partnered with Elon University’s NC Local News Workshop in this effort to gain a better understanding of the North Carolina journalism workforce. The CISLM research team, led by Research Director Jessica Mahone, designed the surveys and analyzed results.
