(JANSEN ROMERO / FILE PHOTO / MANILA BULLETIN) CIDG director Maj. Gen. Albert Ignatius Ferro made the statement as he confirmed that a CIDG operative indeed visited the office of a group identified with Anakalusugan party-list Rep. Mike Defensor in Quezon City amid reports the group has been distributing the anti-parasitic drug for animals in the area. “One of our personnel went there just to validate the reported information of distribution of Ivermectin in one of the barangays in Quezon City,” Ferro told the Manila Bulletin in an interview. “A former barangay captain was interviewed by one of his men regarding this matter during that visit,” he added.
