(WFIE) - Chief Deputy of the Vanderburgh County Sheriffâs Office, Noah Robinson, has announced his 2022 candidacy for sheriff. Robinson is a 22-year law enforcement veteran. He was introduced at an outdoor, drive-in style event outside the Vanderburgh County 4-H Center Auditorium on Wednesday evening to announce his run. Robinson was surrounded at the event by several county leaders. I feel the time is right for me to make my campaign to be that next sheriff,â Robinson said. âI think I have the necessary support, and the ideas and drive to make that happen. I think I would be a worthy successor to Sheriff Dave Wedding to take us to the next level in terms of where weâre heading.â
