View Comments The Chick-fil-A on Route 13 near New Castle is scheduled to open June 10, making it the first of at least three new locations the company is planning in New Castle County. The fast food restaurant was built in place of the Dutch Inn – which was demolished last year – between McDonald's and Panda Express. It's the first step in a redevelopment of the Dutch Inn property. A Starbucks will be built behind Chick-fil-A and next to McDonald's along Route 273. Land further back from Chick-fil-A is being prepared for a future retail development up to 20,000 square feet in size. Chick-fil-A is expected to open at least one more location in New Castle County this year.
