Chautauqua Institution plans hybrid summer with both live and virtual elements

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Break out those gate passes and seat cushions. The Chautauqua Institution will soon be back in session.
After a year spent in virtual isolation, the famed lakeside retreat in Western New York is now ramping up for a summer within sight of normal.
Virus safety practices, capacity limits, and other changes will be in place, but many events in 2021 are slated to transpire in the way that’s fundamentally familiar: in person.
