Two educational "bootcamps" are forming at the University of Oklahoma for people interested in cybersecurity and coding careers. The part-time, 26-week programs will be presented in a live online format, and are geared toward students with any level of skill in information technology, or IT. Belinda Biscoe, senior associate vice president of University Outreach at OU, said the bootcamps will teach critical cybersecurity and programming skills to people looking for high-demand tech jobs. She estimates there are 4,000 cybersecurity or coding jobs available in Oklahoma.
