CDWP green-lights two projects ISLAMABAD: The Central Development Working Party (CDWP) on Tuesday cleared two development projects at a cost of Rs3.37 billion and recommended three schemes worth Rs402.305 billion to the Executive Committee of National Economic Council (Ecnec) for further consideration. The meeting, chaired by Planning Commission Deputy Chairman Mohammad Jehanzeb Khan, discussed projects related to governance, physical planning and housing, transport and communication and education. During the meeting, a project related to governance titled “Establishment of Public Financial Management Unit (PFMU) and Programme Support Unit (PSU) in Finance Department and Planning and Development (P&D) Board respectively under Punjab Resources Improvement and Digital Effectiveness (PRIDE) Programme” worth Rs86.78 million was recommended to Ecnec. The plan is aimed at increasing revenue and improving reliability of resource allocation and access to digital services for people and firms in the province.
