The Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) has been promptly sending their employees to collect water connection charges from thousands of residents in the City’s peripheral areas with the promise of supplying
Cauvery water. In reality, a majority of the households that have spent a lot as pro-rata charges are yet to receive a drop of Cauvery water. Some houses get piped water once a week but that is not enough even for a day.
