Carew heads into crime comedy May 7, 2021 Former Norwegian football star John Carew has joined a new team: He’ll break into Oslo’s new Munch museum next year as a member of Olsenbanden, a gang of mostly harmless movie bandits. Footballer-turned-actor John Carew (center) with his latest team in an upcoming new version of Olsenbanden (The Olsen gang), where he plays the character “Benny.” It’s based on a series of old Norwegian comedy films.
