Des Moines Register A second Iowa man faces federal charges accusing him of participating in the Jan. 6 attack of the U.S. Capitol. Leo Christopher Kelly, 35, of Cedar Rapids, was arrested Monday by FBI agents on charges out of the U.S. District Court of the District of Columbia. Kelly appeared in person at the federal courthouse in Cedar Rapids on Tuesday afternoon. His next hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Feb. 9. Kelly faces charges of knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority and of violent entry with intent to disrupt the orderly conduct of official business and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds.
