Cape Town back on Singapore Airlines’ route network
Singapore Airlines will once again be heading to Cape Town from the beginning of July.
While many international airlines are currently absent from the South African skies due to flight suspensions as a result of travel and flight bans imposed against South Africa by their governments, it is good news when an airline announces plans to add additional frequencies or destinations to its route network in South Africa.
SINGAPORE EASES TRANSIT RESTRICTIONS
Last month, Singapore eased its travel restrictions and announced that passengers with recent travel histories from South Africa were permitted to transit through Singapore. This effectively meant that Singapore Airlines was able to accept South African passengers on its flights from Johannesburg provided that they continue to other destinations and only use Singapore as a transit stop.
