Cape Cod treasure hunt offers $500 prize and another $500 for charity

Crank up your "Yargh!" and grab a shovel. A treasure chest has been hidden on Cape Cod, and wannabe pirates have until Christmas to claim $500 in booty.
The hidden hoard is the brainchild of two self-described "Brewster boys," Jordan Fowler and Aaron Lynn, who want to end a tough year with a hunk of fun and give back to the Cape Cod community. "Life has seemed really monotonous," Fowler said. "We were trying to spice peoples' day up."
Fowler, 27, said he and Lynn — lifelong buddies who grew up in Brewster — were motivated by the semi-noble thought: "What goofy thing could we do next?" But their frivolity is cleverly crafted, comes with a curious riddle and includes a payout to the treasure finder and to charity.
