Cannabis shop applications put on hold in Chico The co-owner of Chico's Best says the application process for his cannabis shop has been placed on hold. It’s located along Park Avenue in Chico. But for now, the owners say the application process has been put on hold. "We actually had an appointment to get one turned in on Monday of this week which was a couple of days ago but after it was frozen we weren't able to turn it in and we are wondering what the next steps are gonna be or if there is a timeline from city council,” said co-owner, Charles Burton.
