Camden schools continue free meal program through summer for students News 12 Staff Updated on: Jun 28, 2021, 11:19pm The Camden School District is making sure that children don’t go hungry during the summer. “One hundred percent of our students qualify for free and reduced lunch,” says school Superintendent Katrina McCombs. The district is making sure that the meals don’t stop just because school is out for the summer. The district kicked off its summer meals program on Monday at Woodrow Wilson High School with some fun and games and a visit from Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Avonte Maddox. “There’s kids in places around the world like Haiti. They don’t have free meals at all. And when you come here and get together and you’re putting these free meals together for these children and that’s such a great thing,” Maddox says.
