CRRT is a type of blood purification therapy used with patients who are experiencing acute kidney injury. During this therapy, a patient's blood passes through a special filter that removes fluid and uremic toxins, returning clean blood to the body. Speaking at the handover ceremony of the CRRT machine, Arunrasmy, who is also a privy councilor for the Supreme Privy Council to King Norodom Sihamoni, said the machine would help increase the hospital's capacity to provide effective treatment to the patients with acute kidney injury.
