Cambodia reports daily record of 631 COVID-19 cases, 11 more deaths

PHNOM PENH, June 6 (Xinhua) -- Cambodia on Sunday reported a daily record of 631 COVID-19 cases, raising the national case tally to 34,244 so far, the Ministry of Health (MoH) said in a statement.
The new infections included 616 local cases and 15 imported cases, the MoH said.
Eleven more fatalities had been confirmed, bringing the overall death toll to 263, the statement said, adding that 1,069 patients had recovered, taking the total number of recoveries to 27,147.
The Southeast Asian nation launched a COVID-19 inoculation drive on Feb. 10.
MoH's secretary of state and spokeswoman Or Vandine said that so far, some 2.73 million out of the 10 million targeted population have already been vaccinated.
