Calcasieu Residents Urged To Take Community Needs Survey
The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury’s Human Services Department has put out a survey they need parish residents to fill out to determine the community's needs.
Tarek Polite, Human Services Department Director, told KPLC the survey is an excellent way for Calcasieu residents to voice their concerns and give their input on how the parish can deliver their services more effectively. Polite said they want to improve after two hurricanes, a global pandemic, and an ice storm.
The survey is brief and will include questions on which conditions in the parish contribute to poverty and what the current barriers are that prevent families and individuals from improving their socioeconomic conditions.
