Huanhuan, a female giant panda on loan from China, gave birth to twin cubs at the Beauval Zoo south of Paris on Monday around 1 a.m. local time. The pair had mated, but artificial insemination was also used to increase the chances of pregnancy. The two cubs, weighing 149 grams and 129 grams, will stay in France for few years then move to China.
