Businessman from Jorhat Arrested on Rape Charges
The victim who stayed as a tenant in Tosniwal’s business cum private complex alleged that she was raped by Tosniwal and even made a video of the incident.
JORHAT: Jorhat police has apprehended a businessman from Sorbhog in Barpeta on rape charges.
According to reports, the accused identified as Ghaneshyam Tosniwal allegedly raped a woman from Assam's Morigaon district.
The victim who stayed as a tenant in Tosniwal's business cum private complex alleged that she was raped by Tosniwal and even made a video of the incident.
Based on her complaint, the police registered a case (number 448/2021) at Jorhat police station.
