According to the Indian Student Mobility Report 2023, nearly 13 lakh Indian students have participated in the study abroad programmes. The US (69%) topped other popular choices like the UK (54 per cent), Canada (43 per cent), and Australia (27 per cent), stated the second edition of Oxford International's Student Global Mobility Index report. However, with countries enforcing stricter immigration policies and increasing scrutiny of foreign students, Indian students who aspire to study abroad are facing numerous challenges.
